Following the impressive success of Defense & Security 2007, we’re raising the bar even higher.
As before, the exhibition has the full support and backing of the Thai Ministry of Defence. But more than ever this is an exhibition focused on networking and results.
Exhibitors at the 2007 show hailed from some 43 countries around the world – a truly international event. And because of the success and importance of the new internal security section we’ve added that category to our name…
We’re now DEFENSE & SECURITY 2009
Defense & Security 2009 has been designed to give exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to network with decision-makers and top-brass. People who can really ‘call the shots’.

The staging of Defense 2003, Thailand’s first defence industry event for several years, stimulated an enormous amount of interest amongst military procurement officials throughout the region. It also opened doors for suppliers and contractors in the increasingly lucrative Southeast Asian Defence market.
Defense 2005 was double the size of the inaugural exhibition, which covered some 10,000 square meters. In total there were over 250 exhibitors at Defense 2005 and they came from some 25 countries around the world. Over 20 official delegations led by Ministers of Defence or their representatives were also in attendance.
Defense & Security 2007 was a pleasant surprise for all involved. What was considered a National Show turned out to be a Major World-Class event with top International companies taking part. The 2007 exhibition was raised the bar even higher. Kudos flew from both visitors and exhibitions alike. Exhibitors numbered jumped by 25% compare to the 2005 show. There were over 100 delegations led by Minister of Defence or their representatives were in attendance.
Defense & Security 2009 will be another big leap forward. It is an exhibition focused on professionals where defence contractors can display their latest technology to people who matter. Conferences and seminars will also be conducted in conjunction with the exhibition, updating visitors on trends in military and security developments. To ensure productive participation, networking activities will be arranged to facilitate interaction among exhibitors and visitors alike.
